The Willow Spring Storm basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Corinth Holders Pirates to 25 in the Storm league triumph on Friday.

The Storm now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Panther Creek for a non-league contest on Monday, January 15. Willow Spring will meet a Catamounts team coming off a 68-22 league win over Apex Friendship (Apex, NC). The Catamounts record now stands at 9-4.

The Pirates (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Clayton (Clayton, NC). The Comets enter the 4A Greater Neuse River contest with a 2-7 record.
