The Valley Vikings basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Rio Grande Ravens to 31 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manzano for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 17. Valley will meet a Monarchs team coming off a 70-39 non-league loss to Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs record now stands at 1-5.
