The Amherst Broncos basketball team scored 78 points and held the host Pleasanton Bulldogs to 31 in the Broncos non-league triumph on Friday.

The Broncos now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gibbon for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. Amherst will battle a Buffaloes team coming off a 61-38 non-league loss to Doniphan-Trumbull (Doniphan, NE). The Buffaloes record now stands at 3-8.
