South Carolina High School Basketball - Clinton tops Woodruff

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Clinton Red Devils (Clinton, SC) and the visiting Woodruff Wolverines (Woodruff, SC), saw Clinton's basketball squad knock off Woodruff by a count of 64-45.

With the victory, Clinton upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Red Devils travel to Chester (Chester, SC) to play the Cyclones in a AAA Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Cyclones come into the challenge with a record of 10-1. Chester lost 54-50 in their recent league challenge against Emerald (Greenwood, SC)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC) in a AAA Region 4 challenge, on Friday, January 20. Woodruff will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record.
