The Corning Bobcats basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Harrisburg Hornets to 35 in the Bobcats league triumph on Friday.

The Bobcats now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piggott for a 3A Region 3 contest on Wednesday, January 18. Corning will battle a Mohawks team coming off a 61-45 league win over Gosnell (Gosnell, AR). The Mohawks record now stands at 7-10.

The Hornets (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Walnut Ridge (Walnut Ridge, AR). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Walnut Ridge was routed by Newport (Newport, AR), 61-34, in a league contest.
