The Comets now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stuttgart for a 4A Region 8 battle on Tuesday, January 17. Mills University Studies will battle a Ricebirds team coming off a 70-29 league win over Hamburg (Hamburg, AR). The Ricebirds record now stands at 3-3.
The Eagles (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Monticello (Monticello, AR). The Billies come into the 4A Region 8 battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Monticello was routed by Watson Chapel (Pine Bluff, AR), 54-45, in a league battle.
