January 20, 2023: Little Rock, AR 72206 The Monticello Billies basketball team (Monticello, AR), was overwhelmed 72-41 in Friday's league battle with the host Mills University Studies Comets (Little Rock, AR)
The Comets (9-8) will now prepare for their outing against Warren (Warren, AR). The Lumberjacks go into the 4A Region 8 outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Warren was crushed by Watson Chapel (Pine Bluff, AR), 66-40, in a league outing.
The Billies now hold a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Stuttgart for a 4A Region 8 outing on Wednesday, January 25.
