Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Rosamond Roadrunners (Rosamond, CA) and the host Desert Scorpions (Edwards AFB, CA), saw Rosamond's basketball squad hold off Desert by a tally of 58-52.

With the victory, Rosamond improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Roadrunners host Mammoth (Mammoth Lakes, CA) to confront the Huskies in a High Desert challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Mammoth won 59-44 in their recent league challenge against Frazier Mountain (Lebec, CA)
