The Kern Valley Broncs basketball team (Lake Isabella, CA), was overwhelmed 70-40 in Friday's league battle with the host Desert Scorpions (Edwards AFB, CA)

The Scorpions now possess a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Union for a High Desert battle on Tuesday, January 31. Desert will confront a Broncos team coming off a 60-47 league win over Rosamond (Rosamond, CA). The Broncos record now stands at 15-5.

The Broncs (9-9) will now prepare for their battle against Frazier Mountain (Lebec, CA). The Falcons come into the High Desert battle with a 3-12 record. In their last battle, Frazier Mountain was overwhelmed by California City (California City, CA), 2-0, in a league battle.
