The Center Roughriders basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Kilgore Bulldogs to 37 in the Roughriders league triumph on Friday.

The Roughriders now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carthage for a 4A Region III District 17 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Center will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 38-18 league win over Kilgore (Kilgore, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-15.

The Bulldogs (2-15) will now prepare for their contest against Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 4A Region III District 17 contest with a 17-7 record. In their last contest, Chapel Hill nudged Henderson (Henderson, TX), 55-37, in a league contest.
