January 14, 2022: Mapleton, MN 56065 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN) and the visiting Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Bulldogs (Janesville, MN), saw Maple River's basketball squad wallop Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton by a tally of 71-29.
With the victory, Maple River improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN) to confront the Panthers in a AA Section 2 challenge on Monday, January 17. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 4-5.
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Medford Tigers (Medford, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 18. Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record.
