The Valley Christian Trojans basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Gilbert Christian Knights to 60 in the Trojans league triumph on Saturday.

The Trojans now sport a 20-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to American Leadership Academy - Anthem South for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 18. Valley Christian will meet a Titans team coming off a 51-45 non-league loss to Miami (Miami, AZ). The Titans record now stands at 1-12.

The Knights (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Coolidge (Coolidge, AZ). The Bears enter the 3A South Central contest with a 19-0 record. In their last contest, Coolidge ran past American Leadership Academy - Anthem South (Florence, AZ), 65-23, in a non-league contest.
