Arizona High School Basketball - Valley Christian nips American Leadership Academy - Ironwood

Valley Christian Trojans (Chandler, AZ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host American Leadership Academy - Ironwood Warriors (Ironwood, AZ), 53-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Valley Christian upgrades its record to 22-1 on the season. The Trojans host Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ) to play the Chargers in a 3A South Central bout on Friday, January 27. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 12-9.

Next up, the Warriors face the Globe Tigers (Globe, AZ) in a 3A South Central game, on Tuesday, January 24. American Leadership Academy - Ironwood will attempt to move on its 14-7 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 6-15 record after their 91-56 league loss to Coolidge (Coolidge, AZ).
