The Weldon Chargers basketball team (Weldon, NC), was nudged 59-58 in Saturday's league battle with the host Southeast Halifax Trojans (Halifax, NC)

The Trojans now possess a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwest Halifax for a 1A Conference 9 battle on Tuesday, January 17.
