North Carolina High School Basketball - Southeast Halifax fells Northwest Halifax

January 17, 2023: Littleton, NC 27850

Southeast Halifax Trojans (Halifax, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC), 75-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Southeast Halifax upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Trojans host KIPP Pride (Gaston, NC) to play the Pride in a 1A Conference 9 bout on Friday, January 20. The Pride go into the bout with a record of 7-5. KIPP Pride lost 80-70 in their recent league bout against Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC)

Next up, the Vikings play the Northampton County Jaguars (Gaston, NC) in a 1A Conference 9 bout, on Friday, January 20. Northwest Halifax will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 77-51 league loss to Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC).
