The Wilson Prep Tigers basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Northwest Halifax Vikings to 42 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to KIPP Pride for a 1A Conference 9 contest on Thursday, December 15. Wilson Prep will meet a Pride team coming off a 60-45 league loss to Northampton County (Gaston, NC). The Pride record now stands at 2-2.

The Vikings (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bunn (Bunn, NC). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Bunn was routed by Rocky Mount (Rocky Mount, NC), 82-37, in a league contest.
