January 14, 2025: Freeport, ME 04032 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Freeport Falcons (Freeport, ME) and the visiting Yarmouth Clippers (Yarmouth, ME), observed Freeport's basketball team edge Yarmouth by a score of 46-41.
The Falcons (3-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Brunswick (Brunswick, ME). The Dragons come into the A South challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Brunswick edged Fryeburg (Fryeburg, ME), 47-42, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Clippers battle the Poland Knights (Poland, ME) in a B South challenge, on Friday, January 17. Yarmouth will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 70-64 league win over Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME).
