Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Upper Darby bested by Penncrest
January 14, 2025: Drexel Hill, PA 19026 Penncrest Lions (Media, PA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Upper Darby Royals (Drexel Hill, PA), 47-32 in a league match.
With the victory, Penncrest advances its record to 14-0 on the year. The Lions host Garnet Valley (Glen Mills, PA) to meet the Jaguars in a Central match on Thursday, January 16. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 12-3. Garnet Valley won 61-46 in their recent league match against Strath Haven (Wallingford, PA)
The Royals now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Springfield for a Central match on Friday, January 17. Upper Darby will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 49-33 league win over Haverford (Havertown, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 11-3.
