With the victory, Waubay/Summit advances its record to 6-4 on the year. The Mustangs host Ipswich (Ipswich, SD) to meet the Tigers in a non-league battle on Friday, January 17. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 4-4. Ipswich won 75-33 in their recent league battle against Sully Buttes (Onida, SD)
The Redmen now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roncalli for a A Region 1 battle on Thursday, January 16. Sisseton will meet a Cavaliers squad coming off a 56-47 non-league loss to Leola/Frederick (Leola, SD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-5.
