South Dakota High School Basketball - Waubay/Summit sneaks past Webster
December 17, 2024: Webster, SD 57274 The Waubay/Summit Mustangs basketball team scored 45 points and limited the host Webster Bearcats to 44 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Waverly/South Shore for a B Region 1 game on Friday, December 20. Waubay/Summit will play a Coyotes team coming off a 57-51 non-league loss to Florence/Henry (Florence, SD). The Coyotes record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Webster falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Britton-Hecla (Britton, SD) to play the Braves in a A Region 1 game on Friday, December 20. The Braves go into the game with a record of 1-0. Britton-Hecla won 67-38 in their recent non-league match against Tiospa Zina (Agency Village, SD)
