South Iron Panthers (Annapolis, MO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Fredericktown Black Cats (Fredericktown, MO), 67-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Iron upgrades its record to 14-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Meadow Heights (Patton, MO) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 18. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 5-4.

Next up, the Black Cats play the Crystal City Hornets (Crystal City, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 22. Fredericktown will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 14-2 record after their 56-35 league win over Windsor (Imperial, MO).
