The Moon Area Tigers ice hockey squad (Moon Township, PA), was overwhelmed 9-2 in Monday's league outing with the host Avonworth Antelopes (Pittsburgh, PA)

In their next game, the Antelopes confront the Beaver Bobcats (Beaver, PA) in a PIHL Class A Blue outing, on Thursday, January 18. Avonworth will attempt to better on its 12-2 season record. The Bobcats go into the outing with a 6-8 record after their 8-1 league win over Richland (Johnstown, PA).
