Pennsylvania High School Ice Hockey - Hampton drops to Moon Area
February 12, 2024: Moon Township, PA 15108 In Monday's league test, the host Moon Area Tigers ice hockey team scored a tight 5-1 win over the Hampton Talbots.
The Tigers (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Richland (Johnstown, PA). The Rams enter the PIHL Class A Blue test with a 13-20 record. In their last test, Richland by Wheeling Central Catholic (Wheeling, WV), 5-4, in a league test.
Next up, the Talbots encounter the Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers (Johnstown, PA) in a PIHL Class A Blue test, on Monday, February 19. Hampton will attempt to advance on its 4-15 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the test with a 0-21 record after their 10-1 league loss to Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA).
