Pennsylvania High School Ice Hockey - Avonworth knocks off Moon Area
January 15, 2024: Pittsburgh, PA 15237 The Moon Area Tigers ice hockey squad (Moon Township, PA), was overwhelmed 9-2 in Monday's league outing with the host Avonworth Antelopes (Pittsburgh, PA)
In their next game, the Antelopes confront the Beaver Bobcats (Beaver, PA) in a PIHL Class A Blue outing, on Thursday, January 18. Avonworth will attempt to better on its 12-2 season record. The Bobcats go into the outing with a 6-8 record after their 8-1 league win over Richland (Johnstown, PA).
With the defeat, Moon Area drops to 8-7 on the campaign. The Tigers host Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA) to confront the Hilltoppers in a PIHL Class A Blue outing on Monday, January 22. The Hilltoppers go into the outing with a record of 0-16.
