In Wednesday's league contest, the host Reservoir 'Gators basketball team scored a good 54-45 win over the Long Reach Lightning.

The 'Gators (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hammond (Columbia, MD). The Golden Bears come into the Howard County contest with a 1-8 record.

In their next game, the Lightning battle the Mt. Hebron Vikings (Ellicott City, MD) in a Howard County contest, on Friday, January 17. Long Reach will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record.
