The Patuxent Panthers basketball squad (Lusby, MD), was crushed 78-33 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Westlake Wolverines (Waldorf, MD)

With the victory, Westlake advances its record to 2-9 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD) to meet the Raiders in a Southern Maryland battle on Friday, January 17. The Raiders enter the battle with a record of 6-3.

The Panthers now own a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McDonough for a Southern Maryland test on Friday, January 17. Patuxent will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 61-58 league loss to Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Rams record now stands at 6-4.
