The Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD) basketball crushed the visiting Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD), 73-39 in Thursday's league bout.

The Hurricanes now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Northern for a Southern Maryland bout on Wednesday, December 11. Huntingtown will play a Patriots team coming off a 59-51 league win over Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD). The Patriots record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Patuxent falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to La Plata (La Plata, MD) to play the Warriors in a Southern Maryland bout on Monday, December 9.
