The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD) and the visiting Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD), observed McDonough's basketball team edge Huntingtown by a score of 70-69.

The Rams (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD). The Cavaliers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Calvert edged Patuxent (Lusby, MD), 49-47, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Hurricanes battle the Annapolis Panthers (Annapolis, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 20. Huntingtown will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 57-41 non-league win over Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MD).
