Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD), 64-60 in a league match.

With the victory, Huntingtown advances its record to 9-4 on the year. The Hurricanes travel to Great Mills (Great Mills, MD) to face the Hornets in a Southern Maryland match on Wednesday, January 29. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 7-3.

The Rams now own a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Great Mills for a Southern Maryland match on Monday, January 27. McDonough will face a Hornets squad coming off a 71-33 league win over Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD). The Hornets record now stands at 7-3.
