Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Gulf Buccaneers (New Port Richey, FL) and the visiting Cypress Creek Coyotes (Wesley Chapel, FL), saw Gulf's basketball squad hold off Cypress Creek by a tally of 74-68.

With the victory, Gulf improves its record to 4-10 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host Patel (Tampa, FL) to play the Trailblazers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Trailblazers come into the challenge with a record of 7-13. Patel lost 64-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Carrollwood Day (Tampa, FL)

Next up, the Coyotes play the Zephyrhills Bulldogs (Zephyrhills, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Cypress Creek will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record.
