California High School Basketball - Fairfield tops Rodriguez
January 16, 2024: Fairfield, CA 94533 Fairfield Falcons (Fairfield, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Rodriguez Mustangs (Fairfield, CA), 80-70 in a league bout.
With the victory, Fairfield upgrades its record to 9-11 on the campaign. The Falcons host Armijo (Fairfield, CA) to play the Royals in a Monticello Empire League bout on Thursday, January 18. The Royals come into the bout with a record of 4-8. Armijo lost 81-44 in their recent league bout against Wood (Vacaville, CA)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Vanden Vikings (Fairfield, CA) in a Monticello Empire League bout, on Thursday, January 18. Rodriguez will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 12-7 record after their 72-42 league win over Vacaville (Vacaville, CA).
