Nevada High School Basketball - Wells nudges Jackpot
January 16, 2024: Jackpot, NV 89825 Wells Leopards (Wells, NV) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Jackpot Jaguars (Jackpot, NV), 37-32 in a league bout.
With the win, Wells upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Leopards travel to Carlin (Carlin, NV) to clash with the Railroaders in a 1A East bout on Thursday, January 18. The Railroaders go into the bout with a record of 1-11. Carlin lost 55-41 in their recent non-league bout against Round Mountain (Round Mountain, NV)
Next up, the Jaguars clash with the Carlin Railroaders (Carlin, NV) in a 1A East bout, on Friday, January 19. Jackpot will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Railroaders go into the bout with a 1-12 record after their 34-27 league loss to Wells (Wells, NV).
