Lund Mustangs (Lund, NV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Jackpot Jaguars (Jackpot, NV), 61-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Lund upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Mustangs host Wells (Wells, NV) to play the Leopards in a 1A East bout on Saturday, February 3. The Leopards go into the bout with a record of 10-9. Wells lost 63-15 in their recent league bout against Eureka (Eureka, NV)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Eureka Vandals (Eureka, NV) in a 1A East bout, on Saturday, February 3. Jackpot will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Vandals go into the bout with a 18-0 record after their 63-15 league win over Wells (Wells, NV).
