Virginia High School Basketball - Colonial Forge holds off Riverbend

January 16, 2025: Stafford, VA 22554

The Colonial Forge Eagles basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting Riverbend Bears to 62 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now have a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to North Stafford for a Commonwealth game on Friday, January 17. Colonial Forge will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 44-39 league win over Mountain View (Stafford, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-9.

With the loss, Riverbend falls to 9-2 on the campaign. The Bears host Massaponax (Spotsylvania, VA) to confront the Panthers in a Commonwealth game on Friday, January 17. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 7-6. Massaponax won 71-53 in their recent league game against Stafford (Falmouth, VA)
