Riverbend Bears (Fredericksburg, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Stafford Indians (Falmouth, VA), 68-56 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Riverbend upgrades its record to 8-1 on the year. The Bears travel to Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA) to face the Jaguars in a non-league match on Monday, January 6. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 7-3. Glen Allen lost 56-52 in their recent non-league match against Maury (Norfolk, VA)

The Indians now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland Springs for a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. Stafford will face a Springers squad coming off a 63-46 non-league win over Thomas Dale (Chester, VA). The Springers record now stands at 3-4.
