In Thursday's league contest, the visiting New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds basketball team scored a close 60-55 triumph over the Sleepy Eye Indians.

The Greyhounds (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Edgerton (Edgerton, MN). The Flying Dutchmen go into the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Edgerton was tipped by Hills-Beaver Creek (Hills, MN), 62-44, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Martin County West Mavericks (Sherburn, MN) in a A Section 2 contest, on Saturday, January 18. Sleepy Eye will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record.
