The New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds (New Ulm, MN) basketball were winner over the visiting Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs (Hector, MN), 65-49 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Greyhounds now possess a 9-11 record. They play next when they host Cedar Mountain for a A Section 2 bout on Friday, February 7. New Ulm Cathedral will play a Cougars team coming off a 74-41 league win over St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 17-3.

With the loss, Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart falls to 0-19 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Springfield (Springfield, MN) to play the Tigers in a A Section 2 bout on Thursday, February 6. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 18-1. Springfield won 78-41 in their recent league bout against Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN)
