Sharon Springs Central Spartans (Sharon Springs, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Cherry Valley-Springfield Patriots (Cherry Valley, NY), 43-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Sharon Springs Central upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Spartans travel to Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton (Gilbertsville, NY) to play the Raiders in a Section 4 Tri-Valley bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 3-7.
