Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Eastside Eagles (Covington, GA) and the visiting Loganville Red Devils (Loganville, GA), saw Eastside's basketball squad hold off Loganville by a tally of 79-78.

With the victory, Eastside improves its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Heritage (Conyers, GA) to confront the Patriots in a AAAAA Region 8 challenge on Friday, January 20. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Heritage lost 58-42 in their recent league challenge against Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA)
