North Carolina High School Basketball - Harnett Central overwhelmed by Overhills

The Harnett Central Trojans basketball team (Angier, NC), was overwhelmed 61-21 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC)

The Jaguars now possess a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Forest for a 3A/4A All-American battle on Friday, January 19. Overhills will battle a Trojans team coming off a 54-21 non-league loss to Richmond (Rockingham, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 7-8.

The Trojans (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Triton (Erwin, NC). The Hawks come into the 3A/4A All-American battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, Triton was overwhelmed by Overhills (Spring Lake, NC), 43-42, in a league battle.
