Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC), 48-41 in a league match.

With the victory, Camden County advances its record to 8-6 on the year. The Bruins host Franklin (Franklin, VA) to face the Broncos in a non-league match on Monday, January 20. The Broncos enter the match with a record of 6-9. Franklin lost 55-52 in their recent league match against Southampton (Courtland, VA)

The Aces now own a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Currituck County for a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal match on Saturday, January 18. Holmes will face a Knights squad coming off a 66-59 non-league win over Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA). The Knights record now stands at 10-3.
