North Carolina High School Basketball - Camden County can't hold off Currituck County

December 19, 2024: Camden, NC 27921

Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC), 65-60 in a league match.

With the victory, Currituck County advances its record to 6-2 on the year. The Knights travel to Washington County (Plymouth, NC) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Friday, December 27. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 3-0. Washington County won 87-66 in their recent non-league match against Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC)

The Bruins now own a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gates County for a non-league match on Friday, December 20. Camden County will face a Red Barons squad coming off a 85-56 league loss to Martin County (Williamston, NC). The Red Barons record now stands at 2-4.
