North Carolina High School Basketball - Currituck County thwarts Hertford County

December 17, 2024: Barco, NC 27917

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) and the visiting Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC), observed Currituck County's basketball team knock off Hertford County by a score of 74-55.

The Knights (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Camden County (Camden, NC). The Bruins come into the 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Camden County dropped by Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC), 71-56, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bears encounter the Pasquotank County Panthers (Elizabeth City, NC) in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal challenge, on Thursday, December 19. Hertford County will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 71-56 league win over Camden County (Camden, NC).
