The Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) basketball toppled the host Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC), 58-46 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Knights now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Manteo for a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal bout on Tuesday, January 7. Currituck County will play a Redskins team coming off a 64-51 league loss to First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC). The Redskins record now stands at 5-2.
