In Friday's league contest, the host Bishop Union Broncos basketball team scored a big 43-21 triumph over the Boron Bobcats.

The Broncos (13-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kern Valley (Lake Isabella, CA). The Broncs go into the High Desert contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Kern Valley was trounced by Central Valley Christian (Visalia, CA), 54-45, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bobcats battle the California City Ravens (California City, CA) in a High Desert contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Boron will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record.
