In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Desert Scorpions basketball team scored a big 52-10 win over the Boron Bobcats.

The Scorpions (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Antelope Valley (Lancaster, CA). The Antelopes come into the non-league contest with a 8-0 record. In their last contest, Antelope Valley smashed Eastside (Lancaster, CA), 52-42, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Academy of Careers & Exploration Eagle (Helendale, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 9. Boron will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Eagle go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 48-4 non-league loss to Academy for Academic Excellence (Apple Valley, CA).
