California High School Basketball - Desert overwhelms California City

December 20, 2024: Edwards AFB, CA 93523

The Desert Scorpions basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting California City Ravens to 37 in the Scorpions league triumph on Friday.

The Scorpions now have a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Del Oro for a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. Desert will confront a Suns team coming off a 31-16 non-league loss to Garces Memorial (Bakersfield, CA). The Suns record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, California City falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Ravens travel to Wasco (Wasco, CA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 6-2. Wasco won 41-19 in their recent league game against Kennedy (Delano, CA)
