The Nixon Mustangs topped the host Alexander Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 61-49 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the United South Panthers (Laredo, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 30 game, on Friday, January 21. Nixon will attempt to move on its 18-7 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 11-13 record after their 73-66 non-league loss to Martin (Laredo, TX).
