The Murrieta Valley Nighthawks tipped the visiting Vista Murrieta Broncos basketball team by a final score of 57-55 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Nighthawks face the Chaparral Pumas (Temecula, CA) in a Southwestern game, on Friday, January 20. Murrieta Valley will attempt to move on its 10-12 season record. The Pumas enter the game with a 8-12 record after their 57-44 league loss to Great Oak (Temecula, CA).

With the defeat, Vista Murrieta moves to 18-5 on the year. The Broncos host Murrieta Mesa (Murrieta, CA) to face the Rams in a Southwestern game on Friday, January 20.
