The Murrieta Valley Nighthawks (Murrieta, CA) basketball nipped the host Chaparral Pumas (Temecula, CA), 55-51 in Wednesday's league test.

The Nighthawks (7-11) will now prepare for their test against Temecula Valley (Temecula, CA). The Golden Bears go into the Southwestern test with a 3-15 record. In their last test, Temecula Valley was tipped by Great Oak (Temecula, CA), 79-58, in a league test.
